Eagle Creek
This past weekend I was in Oregon visiting Sarah and other friends from Dartmouth. Truly it was a lovely time. On Saturday, Sarah and I went for an initially lovely but eventually cold and wet hike up Eagle Creek, in the Columbia River Gorge. It was the first time that I had been in a new ecosystem in quite a while – t’was wonderful. I have a few pictures attached – I hope you like black and white.

Blackfoot Valley
Montana is gorgeous. I am constantly amazed by the beauty, even after having lived here for most of my life. This picture I took after a rather mediocre (yet still wonderful) fishing trip up the North Fork of the Blackfoot.
Cows, fence, prairie grass, mountains. Lovely lovely.
Lake Michigan Fun
Soaking up the sun while having some fun on the shores of Lake Michigan in beautiful country chock full of vineyards.
Big Salmon Lake
I went backpacking in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, way way back there to Big Salmon Lake. What a beautiful lake it is.
