The Upper Rattlesnake
August 2, 2007
Hardly anybody fishes Rattlesnake Creek. I’m not complaining – I love having a stream to myself. And if you take the effort to go above Beeskove Creek. That means either 6 miles of hiking, biking, or horseback riding. I prefer the bike. So up you bike for an hour, but then you’ve got a beautiful creek in a beautiful canyon all to yourself. And lots and lots of cutthroat.
- This was the beauty of the night – one of the most beautiful cutthroats I’ve caught.
- Glory Shot
- This picture doesn’t do the creek justice, but suffice to say that countless wonder fishing holes – large and small – dot the upper Rattlesnake.
